Sound Check Entertainment had the incredible honor of producing the opening ceremony performance for Blavity Inc.’s AfroTech Conference in Houston, Texas, which welcomed nearly 40,000 attendees! AfroTech, the world’s leading conference celebrating Black culture, youth, and technology, provided the perfect stage for us to deliver an electrifying and meaningful activation. Beyond the show, we aligned this activation with the work of the Sound Check Foundation to give back to the local community. In partnership with Worthing High School, a Houston institution, we created an access line to performance clinics and tech industry education opportunities, bridging the arts and technology in impactful ways. This event not only showcased the talent and innovation we bring to large-scale activations but also reinforced our commitment to empowering the next generation through education, access, and the arts. It was truly special to be a part of AfroTech 2024—where culture, creativity, and community came together!
